UPDATED: Greene County General Hospital imposes visitor restrictions due to upswing in flu

Greene County General Hospital in Linton has announced an immediate change in its visitation policy due to an upswing in H1N1 and seasonal influenza in the area. Under the new policy, which will remain in effect until hospital officials deem it safe to rescind, any visitors who are under the age of 18 or pregnant will be prohibited from entering the hospital, according to assistant administrator Randy Padgett.
