Jasonville council hears proclamation for "Take Pride in our City Day"

The Jasonville City Council heard a proclamation by MSD of Shakamak during its meeting Monday evening. The proclamation requests that April 22 of each year will become "Take Pride in our City Day." Donations given to two local organizations

To celebrate it's 20th anniversary last month, Goosepond Pizza in Linton donated 20 percent of sales to two local charities as a way of giving back to the community which helped to make them a success. Indiana State Police troopers spend much of their time patrolling the streets and highways of the Hoosier state, but a recent event in neighboring Ohio sent some officers outside their normal routes. LSSC making progress on campus upgrades

Construction crews at Linton-Stockton School Corporation have made some progress in the last rain-free week, but more rain is expected this week. Superintendent Nick Karazsia said the contractors were able to start laying some black top behind the school Monday, but there are still some concerns about the soil grade at the south end of the football field.
