The UDWI REMC Board of Directors met Monday evening and issued a statement in regards to the civil lawsuit between former CEO Brian Sparks and the Cooperative. On Dec. 12, 2017, former UDWI CEO Brian Sparks filed a civil suit against UDWI, alleging breach of contract and seeking damages. The original documentation, filed by Sparks’ attorney in Greene Superior Court, alleges the cooperative owes him nearly $400,000 in liquidated damages plus attorney fees and costs...
