Lady Wolverines pick up home win against Wood Memorial

Updated: GC Jail inmate dies after unknown medical event

An inmate at the Greene County Jail, Lea Pfaff, age 42 of Bloomfield, died in an Evansville hospital after suffering an unknown medical event April 18 while in custody. According to a release issued by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, life-saving measures were started by jail staff when the event occurred and Greene County Ambulance Service continued trying to save Pfaff upon their arrival...
