Members of the Linton-Stockton Elementary School Kindergarten classes got a special surprise from the Linton City Fire Department and offenders at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility Thursday afternoon. The students were each given a handmade quilt to help keep them warm during the upcoming winter. The quilts were made by the offenders at WVCF and delivered by members of the fire department and Linton Mayor John Wilkes. Joining Wilkes in a group photo are the students of Mrs. Karman Albright, Mrs. Mary Ann Witty, Mrs. Dawn Sullivan, Mrs. Lena Miller and Mrs. Brooke Feaster as well as fire chief Brad Sparks and firefighters Opie Wall and Richie Budd.
