Earl "Pearl" Edward Hensley

Earl "Pearl" Edward Hensley, 77, of Linton, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. Pearl was born on October 18, 1938 in Beehunter, to William and Hazel Irene (Miller) Hensley. Earl attended Marco High School. He worked several years at N.S.W. Crane. He was past President and longtime member of the local United Mine Workers Association, #1410 (U.M.W.A.), retiring from Peabody Coal Company, (Hawthorne Mine), as a welder. He later worked at the Lyons Health & Living Center as a Janitor where he enjoyed interacting with the residence. He belonged to the Linton Moose Lodge and was an avid Indian Rock Collector. Earl loved his family and enjoyed teaching basketball to his grandchildren.
